About the Festival
A festival workshop led by a renowned Clinician for developing a culture of excellence and a platform for celebrating this uniquely American genre of music, The Negro Spiritual. Currently, the spiritual is sung around the world. It is our hope that the festival will continue to present the Negro Spiritual as a genre worthy of study, performance, and celebration, thus, presenting it as a gift to generations to come.
